Formal recruitment runs over a few days, each designed to help you get to know us — and us, you.
The first day of recruitment is a chance to experience the genuine connections and friendships that make Alpha Chi Omega special. Through meaningful conversations and shared experiences, potential new members get to learn more about our chapter and the sisterhood we have built.
On the second day, potential new members get a closer look at our chapter home and learn more about the causes we are passionate about. This day highlights our traditions, philanthropy, and the ways our sisters come together to make an impact.
Preference is the final and most meaningful day of recruitment, focused on sharing the deeper values and bonds that define Alpha Chi Omega. Through reflection, tradition, and heartfelt conversations, potential new members get a glimpse into the lifelong sisterhood they could be part of.
If Alpha Chi Omega is the right fit, you'll receive your bid and run home to meet your new sisters.
Recruitment week is one of my favorite times of year. It's your first real chance to get to know us, and ours to get to know you.
Every round is designed to show a different side of our chapter, from the fun and lighthearted to the more personal conversations that help us all figure out where you'll feel most at home.
If you have any questions along the way, my inbox is always open. I can't wait to meet you.
Interested in finding your home away from home? Alpha Chi Omega is excited to welcome new members through Continuous Open Bidding (COB)! COB happens on a rolling basis — chapters with open spots can extend bids at any time outside of the formal recruitment period. COB is a great opportunity to meet our sisters, learn more about our chapter, and discover the friendships and experiences that make Alpha Chi Omega so special. We can't wait to connect with you!
